While wearing a new invention called the Mentawave Helmet, Dr. Honeycut is caught in an electrical storm with his robot Sal. A stray bolt of lightning fries Honeycut’s body, but fuses his mind with the robot’s electronic brain. Believing that Sal has killed Honeycut, the authorities pursue Honeycut/Sal as a murderous fugitive. And that’s just in the first few pages of the first issue!
