Doom Patrol

Arani Caulder, widow of the original Doom Patrol founder Niles Caulder, pulled the current force together after the original Doom Patrol perished. The new force includes original member Cliff Steele—Robotman, a cyborg with the mind of a race car driver and a body of steel; Ariana, who as Celsius can throw extreme heat or cold; Tempest, a doctor who can toss off power blasts; and an incarnation of Negative Man. Over time the cast of characters has become steadily stranger, featuring Scissormen, monkey-faced girls, and a sentient boulevard named Danny the Street.

Much more than a super-hero series, Doom Patrol combines Dadaism, psychedelia, and adult themes into a compelling mix that makes it unique among comics.
