Blue Beetle
$2.84 – $14.99
Originally a Charlton Comics character, this was the first series for DC Comics published between 1986 and 1989.
The Blue Beetle is Ted Kord, a good-hearted man whose evil uncle had succeeded in murdering the original Blue Beetle (Dan Garrett). As Garrett died, Kord swore to carry on the name of the Blue Beetle. Although he had no super-powers with which to fight crime, Kord trained his body to perfection, and used his technical wizardry to create a variety of devices, including “the Bug,” his flying vehicle.
Originally a Charlton comics character, the Blue Beetle came over to DC, along with the Question and Captain Atom, during the Crisis on Infinite Earths. He would later become a key member of the Justice League International.
