One of the best anthropomorphic animal series to come out of the black-and-white self-publishing boom of the mid-1980s, but one which sadly folded in the backlash. Crow is a barbarian wanderer in the Conan the Barbarian or Last of the Mohicans mold, just struggling to survive in a hostile world. The adventures are deceptively mature for a cute fuzzy bear with a feather in his ear. Solid writing, well drawn.
